Al’s three goals helped the Seals to a 5-2 win and a 2-0 start to the year. The first goal was shorthanded and all three were scored on Detroit goalie Jim Rutherford.

His second hat trick of 1975-76 came February 25, 1976 against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. In a fight-filled affair, the Seals came out on top 6-4, powered by MacAdam’s 25th, 26th and 27th goals of the season. All three goals were scored on Rangers goalie John Davidson.
