Cliff Koroll did indeed have an even better season in 1972-73. In fact, his 33 goals would be a career high. He would achieve his career high in points a few years later with 59 in 1974-75 with the Chicago Blackhawks.

During his second year in the NHL, 1970-71, Koroll tied a modern day NHL record on December 16, 1970 in a game against the St. Louis Blues at the Chicago Stadium. Between 1969-70 and 1979-80, Cliff Koroll played 814 regular season and 85 playoff games in the National Hockey League, all with the Chicago Blackhawks. He went to the Stanley Cup final twice with the Hawks, losing to the Montreal Canadiens both times.
