This 1962-63 Topps card would be the last for Bronco Horvath. He played 41 games for the Rangers to start 62-63 and ended the season appearing in ten games with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He would make a short comeback in the NHL in 1967-68, playing 14 games with the expansion Minnesota North Stars in their inaugural National Hockey League season.
Bronco Horvath finished his NHL career with 141 goals and 326 points in 434 regular season games between 1955-56 and 1967-68. The only ‘Original 6’ team he did not play for was the Detroit Red Wings. In 1959-60, Horvath’s 39 goals with the Boston Bruins tied him for the league lead with Bobby Hull of the Chicago Blackhawks.
