Card Notes
The journey from Toronto to New York wasn’t quite as simple as the card says for Larry Jeffrey. He was first picked up by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1967 NHL Expansion Draft. He was then traded to the Rangers with Paul Andrea, Dunc McCallum, George Konik and Frank Francis going to Pittsburgh.
Jeffrey played two seasons with the Rangers, 1967-68 and 1968-69. He was traded to the Detroit Red Wings for Terry Sawchuk in the summer of 1969 but opted to retire instead.
