Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins joined the National Hockey League for the 1924-25 season. The team won their first Stanley Cup championship in 1928-29 and have won five more titles since (as of the end of the 2021-22 season).

Currently, the Bruins are the third oldest active team in the NHL, behind the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, and are the oldest U.S. based franchise. The team has retired the numbers of 12 players including the likes of Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Ray Bourque and Eddie Shore.

The team plays home games at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
