Details
Camille Henry scored 37 goals in 60 games for the New York Rangers in 1962-63. It would turn out to be a career best. Gordie Howe of the Detroit Red Wings led the league with 38 goals while Frank Mahovlich of the Toronto Maple Leafs was just a single goal behind Henry in third place.
1963-64 would prove to a decent campaign for Camille the Eel. He scored 29 goals and assisted on 26 for 55 points over 68 games, his last healthy season in the NHL. The numbers were good enough for the team lead in goal scoring for the Blue Shirts. He finished fourth in the league, 14 goals behind leader Bobby Hull of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Between 1953-54 and 1969-70, Henry played in 727 regular season and 47 playoff games in the National Hockey League with the Rangers, Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues. Never a Stanley Cup champion, Camille did go to the final with the Blackhawks in 1964-65 and the Blues in 1968-69.
