Leader of the Rangers on the ice and off, Brad had another outstanding season last year. He became the first defenseman in team history to lead the Rangers in scoring. Brad is a constant offensive threat and ranks with Boston’s Bobby Orr in that department. His aggressive, talented style of play has made him one of the most popular players ever to wear a Rangers uniform.

Brad has made the All-Star team five straight years.

O-Pee-Chee jinxed Brad Park my mentioning his streak of five consecutive All-Star selections on the back of this hockey card. He was a First Team All-Star in 1969-70, 1971-72 and 1973-74 while making the Second Team in 1970-71 and 1972-73. However, he was left off both teams for the 1974-75 season. Instead, Bobby Orr and Denis Potvin were named to the First Team while Guy Lapointe and Borje Salming were honoured with Second Team selections.

Park’s all-star form would return for the 1975-76 season when was a First Team All-Star. He would once more in his career have the honours in 1977-78.

Although still relatively early in his NHL days, 1973-74 would turn out to be a career year offensively for Brad Park. His 25 goals, 57 assists and 82 points were all career highs, although he would match the assist total again in 1977-78 playing for the Boston Bruins.

Brad played 1,113 regular season and 161 playoff games in the National Hockey League between 1968-69 and 1984-85 with the Rangers, Bruins and Detroit Red Wings. Never a Norris Trophy winner, Park was a runner-up to the top defenseman award six times. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988.
