Mark Heaslip would not only never play for the Winnipeg Jets but would never play again in the National Hockey League after the 1978-79 season. Mark spent the entire 1979-80 season with the Tulsa Oilers in the Central Hockey League, his last season of pro hockey.
Heaslip did appear in a total of 117 regular season and five Stanley Cup playoff games in the NHL between 1976-77 and 1978-79 with the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings. The 1979-80 O-Pee-Chee card pictured above is one of two cards to feature Mark. His rookie card appears in the 1976-77 O-Pee-Chee set.
