Larry was MVP in the final round of 1975-76 playoffs, was awarded a new car. A good skater and stick-checker.

Details
Larry Robinson had a goal and assist for the Montreal Canadiens in the final series of the 1975-76 Stanley Cup playoffs, a 4-0 sweep over the defending champion Philadelphia Flyers. Robinson would win the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP two years later in 1977-78. However, in 1975-76, the winner would be Reg Leach from the Flyers.
A second round pick by the Habs at the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft, out of the Kitchener Rangers, Robinson broke into the National Hockey League in the second half of the 1972-73 season after a year and a half in the AHL with the Nova Scotia Voyageurs. From there, he never looked back.
Robinson played 1,384 regular season and 227 playoff games in the NHL between 1972-73 and 1991-92 with the Canadiens and Los Angeles Kings. He was a two time Norris Trophy winner as the league’s top defenseman. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995. His number 19 was retired by Montreal in 2007.
