Chris has proven to be a great favorite with the fans with a certain flair that all great skaters have. The quick moving and very mobile center is not only an offensive threat but also an accomplished penalty killer. Chris played his first pro hockey with the Noranda Copper Kings of the Jr. A NOHA in 1962-63 where he tallied 42 goals and 36 assists. He saw NHL action with the Canadiens, Blues and Black Hawks.

Chris Bordeleau was one of those guys that couldn’t quite stick as a regular in the NHL and found salvation in the World Hockey Association. He played in the NHL for four years from 1968-69 to 1971-72 with the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks.
In 205 games, he scored 38 goals and totaled 103 points. He did make the best of his time in the league, appearing in six playoff games in 1968-69 for the Canadiens as the team captured the Stanley Cup championship with a win over the St. Louis Blues in the final.
Bordeleau played in the WHA for the duration of the league, from 1972-73 to 1978-79, and is a member of the WHA Hall of Fame. He started with the Winnipeg Jets and moved over to the Quebec Nordiques during the 1974-75 season.
Chris helped the Nordiques to the Avco World Trophy final in his first year with the club, 1974-75, before being swept by the Houston Aeros. The team again reached the final in 1976-77, this time winning the championship after a tight battle with the Winnipeg Jets.
