Card Notes

Bill and Cesare Maniago are the only two players left from the original Minnesota team of 1967. Bill broke into the NHL with Boston, before becoming a star and a real fan favourite with Minnesota.
Bill is the author of a book on his career, “The Goldy Shuffle”.
Details
Goldsworthy would stay with the North Stars until 16 games into the 1976-77 NHL season. At that time, he was traded to the New York Rangers for Nick Beverley and Bill Fairbairn.
Maniago would leave the season before, making 1975-76 his last with Minnesota. He would play for the Vancouver Canucks for his final two seasons in the National Hockey League, 1976-77 and 1977-78.
The book “The Goldy Shuffle” (Amazon link) is rare but still can be found today. However, at the latest listing of $421, you’ll have to pay dearly…
