Ted Hampson’s finest achievement came in 1968-69 when he was awarded the NHL’s “Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy” for his fine display of sportsmanship and dedication to hockey. He puts his team first, his teammates second and himself last. He’s a 9-year veteran of the NHL, having played with Toronto, New York, Detroit, Oakland and the North Stars. He had 115 lifetime goals in the NHL and 252 assists. Probably Ted is best known for his playmaking ability but is also considered one of the best penalty killers in the game.
